
Completed and Ongoing Projects
SFVA has several ongoing projects to ensure that students have a safe and beautiful learning environment. Most projects are funded through fundraisers, donations, and volunteer work. If you would like to lend a hand, contact our school principal for additional information.

Gym Floor (Completed Project)
Since the 1974 Northridge Earthquake, our gym floor was replaced with carpeting. In December 2023, the gym floor was once again replaced to provide students with a safe environment.

SFVA Mural (Completed)
Alumni, Antonia Castro, contributed towards the creation of three school murals. This SFVA mural improves the exterior appearance of the school.

SFVA Logo Mural (Completed)
This mural showcases SFVA's school logo displaying the importance for Spiritual, Mental, Social, and Physical awareness and improvement.

Huskies Mural (Completed Project)
Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Millie, use her artistic talents to paint "Home of the Huskies" mural on the gym wall.

SFVA Courtyard (Completed Project)
Parent and church volunteers contributed towards improving the SFVA Quad, adding new grass and topiary.

Elementary Library (Completed Project)
Teachers and staff worked to paint the Elementary Library. New book shelves, tables, chairs, and books were added to complete this learning center.

SFVA Clean Up (Completed Project)
Students and staff work together to clean up around campus.

High School Library (Completed Project)
The High School Library was painted, the floor completed, and new books were added. Alumni, Antonia Castro, hand painted a beautiful mural representing the changing seasons. This room was renamed the "Student Learning Center," a multi-purpose room for students, parents, and staff.

Music Room (Completed Project)
The walls in our music room were painted and a new carpet was installed thanks to parent donations and fundraisers.
